He was a gentleman and a clever surgeon, famous in the neighbouring towns.

He gave his service during the earthquake causing damage to the towns of Fleri, Zafferana Etnea and Milo in 1893.

He was so popular that up today he is remembered as “Don Cicciareddu u Chirurgo”, in the same way as he was called from everybody.

Born on 5 January 1822, died on 21 February 1895.
