He was Officer of the (Holy) Inquisition and a very scholarly Latinist; he was very beloved from his fellow townsmen because he founded in 1712 a convent school for young ladies, known under the name of The Virgin and St. Anne. He was born in 1647, and died on 18 August 1712. |
